Academic Support Services provides a list of available resources to help leverage your time and energy to becoming a successful student in your degree plan or other academic activities you participate in.

Bobcat Interest Inventory provides students a link to become connected with student organizations, campus events, recreational opportunities, career discovery, and many other programs and services. Students should visit frequently and request the latest information on the many available opportunities. This program allows campus staff and student leaders working with these opportunities to contact students to become involved with campus life at Texas State.

Hometown Bobcats has a facebook group! Join the facebook group to connect with other Hometown Bobcats and receive group updates.

Jobs4Cats: need a job? The Jobs4Cats is the place to go to look for on-campus and off-campus jobs, summer jobs, and internships. Go to the website and fill out your Jobs4Cats profile today! While you're there, be sure to check out all of the other great resources provided by Career Services.

The Mentoring Program is a student service provided by the Vice President for Student Affairs Office. The program pairs incoming freshmen and transfer students with staff, faculty, and peer/student mentors. The commitment to help new Texas State students acclimate to campus has resulted in higher GPAs and increased retention. The Mentoring Program gives new students opportunities to have a successful first year and supports students through academic and social activities. Apply to be a Mentor or Mentee by filling out the online application on the website.

Student Success Plan is a resource to guide freshmen through the first year of college and establish an expectation of engagement to increase probability of success. The success plan sets high expectations for students to complete the majority of the recommended activities. It covers general topics and then allows the student to customize the experience.
