Hometown Bobcats Leadership Dinner
What is Hometown Bobcats?
Hometown Bobcats is a retention initiative that
started in spring 2007 to support students from
historically underrepresented areas in Texas.
Mission
Hometown Bobcats strives to support students from the historically underrepresented areas of El Paso, the Houston Metroplex, Laredo, and the Valley area by connecting them to the Texas State community while assisting them in creating and maintaining relationships as they work towards graduation.
Goals
I. Support students from historically underrepresented areas of Texas.
II. Collaborate with faculty and staff to provide practical resources for students.
III. Foster a supportive environment to help facilitate student personal, social and professional growth.
