Advertising Positions

The format for advertising job postings will be similar to this:

Ads like these will appear in the employment ad sections of newspapers in the appropriate occupational areas such as professional, office/clerical, technical, service, etc.  The telephone number listed is the University's 24-hour-per-day Job Line.

The following table shows the cost for an "average" size ad for one day:

The usual detailed posting information identifying salary, duties, required qualifications, closing date, and where to send applications will continue to appear on the Job Line and the Human Resources Office bulletin board.

This abbreviated format will be used for all job advertising placed through the Human Resources Office unless an account manager requests that detailed posting be used.  In such cases, the account manager must submit the text of the advertisement.  Account managers may also continue to use detailed postings for ads not placed through the Human Resources Office.
